What AI is really changing in our daily work
Notes from real conversations across industries—from water to drones.
The only true currency is time. For me, it is not okay to scrap time.
That’s why in the last weeks, I’ve been at my corporate job trying to identify which usual tasks and time spending of my daily job could be improved using AI in some way. Every minute I save on a task, by doing it faster or automating it, is a minute of pure value.
Every single minute of thinking can have a massive impact on enterprise value if applied to the right problem.
During Easter, I met with a few friends. I wanted to contrast what I found with them, they work in different industries, such as a partner at EY, a purchasing manager in energy sector, a logistics manager, and a project manager working in the drone industry (this one is the most advanced one…).
You know there is nothing better than a good lunch or conversation with interesting people, and even better if they are outside your usual business, to see beyond.
We need to learn to unlearn old work habits and adopt new operational methods.
We need to rewire our brains.
Your “team” is no longer scarce or expensive, you can iterate endlessly, test multiple approaches, and improve in minutes.
In this new context, the real advantage is not in execution, but in knowing what to ask for, how to refine it, and when an answer is truly good.
So I will share what I found about how we use AI today in our jobs, and what we can expect to do.
