Water Positive & Incredibly Complex Water
Water Positive, Industrial Waste Water Treatment, Waste Water Calendar, FQA….This Week on The Water MBA
New TOP Episode
A new episode will be released on The Water MBA platform (link provided at the end of this email). As usual, I’ll share the story behind it and some reflections. Next week…
This session was recorded during the first week of October, on a Friday afternoon in Spain and morning in Boston (USA). I had a wedding to attend at 6 PM, and we wrapped up the session at 5 PM. I quickly wrapped things up, suited up, and headed off to celebrate my friend’s wedding—along with the completion of this amazing episode.
Marcos is a truly unique professional, and you’ll see why. A few months ago, when I first read about BioDAF, I thought, Wow, what is this? I had never encountered such an approach before. Although I’m not an expert in industrial wastewater, it was clear they had exceptional expertise.
I knew we had to dive into this topic! Marcos was excited about the idea and agreed to share his insights with us.
He’s also a member of the Water Positive Think Tank, and I appreciate how clearly he explained their work. They’re like the Champions League of the water industry, so I strongly encourage you to keep a close eye on this group.
Explore and Connect
Knowledge isn’t confined to a single source—not even The Water MBA. That’s why I aim to bring you insights from congresses, webinars, channels, and other courses or training resources I follow. If The Water MBA serves as a door that opens many others for you, I’ll be delighted. This week…
Firstly, I’ve scheduled a LinkedIn newsletter for December 18th, where I’ll share my top 5 sources of knowledge and information in newsletter format for 2024. Will these remain the same in 2025? Some likely will, while others may change, as I continue to explore new resources. Time is limited, so prioritization is essential, but if you don’t try new sources, you’ll never uncover their true value.
Don’t miss this article—I encourage you to invest a little time in exploring these sources to see if they align with your interests.
Secondly, last Thursday we recorded a live streamed FQA session regarding The Water MBA. It served also as rehearsal for future upcoming live events in 2025.

Just received my 2025 Waste Water Calendar! Huge thanks to Björn Otto and Swetlana Schölzel for this amazing initiative.
With your purchase, you support these sustainable projects, giving people in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania access to clean drinking water. It’s up to us to support projects that can create positive impacts worldwide.
The calendar is a reminder of how wastewater treatment plants work silently every single day to make a difference.
